American rapper Offset shows off the distinguished tattoo of his cousin Takeoff on his back as a tribute to the late rapper. Offset’s family member and Migos bandmate Takeoff died of gunshot wounds on November 1, 2022, in Houston. His tattoo is a lifelike artistic representation of the 28-year-old Takeoff, which covers his back in its entirety.
Offset shared a few Instagram photos showing off the new tattoo on Saturday with the following caption, “Love you 4L & after 🚀🤍🕊.”
In the wake of Takeoff’s passing, Offset wrote on Instagram, “The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare.”
The tragic incident played out during a night out playing dice by Takeoff and Quavo in Houston, Texas, on November 1, 2022, that Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was fatally shot in the head and torso, according to police reports.
Not long after the star-studded memorial service for Takeoff was held, Offset took to social media to express the pain he is going through, according to the rapper, and how he is heartbroken over his beloved cousin’s passing.
