Over 1000 Cockroaches Released in Restaurant by Criminals

Two gangsters threw about 1000 cockroaches into a restaurant in Taiwan and the authorities are investigating. The Taipei police department released CCTV footage that shows two men who were dressed in black, going into the restaurant and throwing the roaches before running out.

The police believe the attack was carried out by a criminal organization on Monday, it is possible that there was unpaid debt. The restaurant owner allegedly owes a criminal gang money and he was targeted.

The restaurant announced that it would be fully sanitized not long after the incident.  It was reported that one woman and four men who were suspects in the attack were taken into custody.
