Person Killed By Plane Engine At Airport In Holland

As per reports, an individual lost his/her life on Wednesday after he/she was sucked into the engine of an airplane at Amsterdam’s main airport. Initial reports do not identify the victim hence it’s unknown if the person was a passenger on the plane or a staff.

The individual was reportedly drawn into the engine of a departing KLM Cityhopper Embraer E190 at the Amsterdam Schiphol airport, the plane was scheduled to travel to BIllund, Denmark.

“Today there was a horrible incident where a person ended up in an airplane engine. Our thoughts go out to the relatives and we care for the passengers and colleagues who witnessed this. The Royal Military Police is currently conducting an investigation,” the airport said in a statement to The Post.

Further reports state that many passengers witnessed the gruesome accident and are being processed accordingly.
