Police Personnel in Critical Condition after Contracting Tuberculosis from Prisoner

Three Police personnel assigned to the holding area of the Supreme Court have been allegedly infected with Tuberculosis, they were tending to an infected prisoner and now one of them is in serious condition in hospital and the police federation is now investigating the matter.

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a Bacteria that attacks the lungs and other parts of the body and it is transmitted through the air when the person who is infected with the disease coughs, sneezes or speaks.
