Popcaan Gives Children Back to School Supplies in St Thomas

Popcaan went all out to make his annual back-to-school treat successful on Thursday, August 22. He even invited Chronic Law who is the artiste that is popular in Jamaica now, to perform during a free concert at the event. Jafrass, Quada performed there as well. Fans screamed, as they were overjoyed when Popcaan also went on stage to perform.

The Popcaan Care Foundation intends to make the treat an annual event, fans of “family” deejay, the parents and children will benefit. It is good to see more entertainers giving back to their fans in this way, since the fans made them who they are.

The Off to School event that was held by the Grace Hamilton Foundation, ran out of supplies and it is good that Popcaan decided to have one as well.

The turnout was big, and Poppy did not disappoint the people. The first 500 children got bags of goodies and back to school supplies.

The event was a huge success as the children were entertained, they had carousels, face painting, clowns, raffles, live DJ’s and train rides. Popcaan intends to put on the event every year, through the Popcaan Cares Foundation.
