Popcaan Gives Drake a Big Diamond “OVO UNRULY” Chain For His 36th Birthday

Dancehall star Popcaan has sent a massive, icy diamond-bezel chain to his colleague and close friend Drake for his thirty-sixth birthday. The expensive custom-made jewellery was hand-delivered to the Canadian rapper on Monday as he celebrated his birthday. Imprinted on the massive diamond-studded pendant are the Unruly and OVO emblems, representing Popcaan’s camp and Drake’s Toronto-based Canadian record label.

The Jamaican and Canadian flags are small, distinguished touches that form the OVO insignia. The gift was delivered to Drake by a representative from The Kettle Kids Limited, a London-based jewellery outlet.

The Kettle Kids Limited shared a video of the flashy gift on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Hand delivered to the him self @champagnepapi Happy birthday bro, more life. Birthday gift from @popcaanmusic OVO x UNRULY.”

Meanwhile, on Popcaan’s Instagram page, the deejay sent birthday wishes to Drake while sharing a photo of when they were younger and a video of them on a boat. “Happy Birthday to my Brother the #6GOD more life and prosperity fam, may God continue to guide and protect you on your journey of Greatness. thanks for everything Brozay! @champagnepapi 👊🏿✊#Familyfilife,” he wrote in the caption.

At the birthday bash in Miami, Florida, Drake threw a lavish event, which ended with guests leaving with gifts. According to Prism Marketing Consultants, the superstar rented out Sexy Fish, a popular spot in Brickell.

He hosted a raffle, giving away expensive gifts such as a Rolex watch, Chanel bags, and gift cards. The star-studded event that was themed 006, which was Drake’s interpretation of 007, had celebrities like DJ Khaled, 21 Savage, Busta Rhymes and more in attendance. There was also a performance from dancehall deejay Skillibeng.
