Popcaan Makes Gizzada with Grandparents in Comical Videos

Popcaan whose birth name is Andrae Hugh Sutherland gave fans an insight into a day with his grandmother and grandfather who seemingly have a lot of disagreements on a daily basis.

The St. Thomas deejay who has been spending some time at a Private Villa on the island took to social media on Monday to share 12 video clips and 1 photo of his Gizzada-making endeavour with his grant parents.

While the Jamaican desserts/treats were made primarily by Popcaan‘s grandmother, the Unruly deejay was around the counter assisting as his grandfather advised on the proper way to make the coconut-filled pastry.

Gizzada which is also referred to as pinch-me-round in some places, is a native Jamaican pastry. The tart is contained in a small, crisp pastry shell with a pinched crust and filled with a sweet and spiced coconut filling.

The last video of the slide proved to be the most entertaining as his grandmother requested his grandfather’s phone and he questioned her motive, she replied stating that she not searching his phone.

Fellow Dancehall artiste Konshens commented, “One artiste mi envy inna earth an a fi one thing ONLY. an a popcaan fi him family bond! Real comfort zonešŸ’ŖšŸ¾, no riches cyaa buy dat.” Reggae singer Gramps Morgan stated, “I LOVE IT!!!”

Popcaan captioned his post with the following words, “Try Making some Gizzada with my Grandparents but them caa agree on anything.”
