Popcaan Disses Valiant’s Fan “Guh Suck u Muma” after Being Labelled as Hater of New Dancehall Generation
Dancehall sensation Popcaan has made headlines for his direct message (DM) exchange with a fan on Instagram that escalated into an intimidating message.
According to the fan, the incident unfolded when he commented on a post of dancehall artiste Valiant’s story that was shared on Instagram by @questimesofficial. In his post, Valiant wrote, “Nobody nuh badmind them, them just cant ride nobody wave [wave emoji] again that hurt them [rat emoji] [praying emoj].”

The fan said he acknowledged that Popcaan is a hater, and all the new generation can see it. He also called him a “waste man” in the comment thread. The comment triggered the artiste’s die-hard fans to tag him in their responses, which inundated him with mentions. Feeling overwhelmed by the tagging, the fan allegedly deleted his comment to avoid the constant notifications.
However, things took an unexpected turn when minutes later, the artiste himself entered the fan’s DMs. He didn’t hold back, sharing his unfiltered thoughts, reminding him of his past as a “groupie.”
The Unruly Boss wrote, “Guh suck u muma!” in the user’s dm before sending another intimidating message.

Screenshots of the DM exchange were later shared on Instagram by @questimesofficial with the caption, “#popcaan dms fan of Ig,” sparking a significant reaction from fans. Opinions were divided, with some suggesting that Popcaan should have ignored the comment, whilst others defended him as a human being with emotions.
