Protoje Shares Motivational Vlog of Himself in Reunion Island, Says “Reggae music do that” – Watch Video

Protoje, renowned Reggae entertainer and mentor, shared a documentary-like video of his time in Reunion Island on Saturday morning. The motivational footage entailed details of the island and aspects of how Protoje grew up.
The video started with the artiste proclaiming, “We just land a Reunion Island, you cyah see much, you could a think a Jamaica wi deh like all a Mobay and we a tell lie.” His companion also commented, “It’s giving Caribbean.”
Taking us on a journey with a hint of storytelling, the Who Knows singer dived into his past memories and shared that he was inclined to pursue the path of athletics to become a long distance runner. According to him, “Mi fada a one a di best long distance running coach innah Jamaica history, so mi grow as an athlete…everytime mi see sand like dis mi just think bout mi dad and think bout running.”
Protoje also showed off a bit of his long distance running skills by running along the shoreline.
According to Protoje, born Oje Ken Ollivierre, his journey from Jamaica to get to Reunion Island consisted of a 9-hour flight to Paris and an additional 11-hour flight to get to their destination.
