This is Joseph DeAngelo, a 74-year-old former police officer who has pleaded guilty to charges related to the infamous “Golden State Killer” who carried out numerous murders and rapes in the 1970s to 1980s.

He evaded the cops for over 40 years seemingly because he knew how the system operates, in many cases, he would turn up and investigate his own crimes after he committed them. The heartless killer confessed to 13 murders and almost 50 rape cases, this means he will avoid the death penalty, however, will spend the rest of his life in prison without parole.
