QRush Gears Up To Flood Dancehall With Music

QRush is a Dancehall/Reggae artiste hailing from St. Ann, Jamaica. With musical influences such as Garnett Silk, Beenie Man, Popcaan and Teejay, he has spent over a decade working on perfecting his craft so that he could showcase his talent to the world.

He stands out in a saturated industry by being versatile while singing songs that people can relate to, by keeping his music predominantly clean. Qrush is a talented, hardworking, dedicated and willing individual that impressed the team at Frenz For Real to the point where he made history by becoming the first artiste to be officially signed to the label.

QRush whose real name is Romario ‘Qrush’ Brown is being promoted by Red Boom, and “Frenz for Real Studio Ja” music group is looking to step up his game in the music industry and has even collaborated with the “1 law” boss, Chronic Law on a track entitled “Realize”, that speaks to the rise of the entertainer and all the fight he has to face on his climb.

The song was approached in the context of reasoning, with the use of conscious lyrics to pave the way to a sensational song based on reality. QRush kicks off the song with the chorus, singing about the fact that things take time but he eventually realizes what he should do regardless of his adversaries. The entertainer is not just equipped with the lyricality to do a reality song however, he also has the rhyming ammunition for the gangster songs as he did so in a track entitled “Act Up”.

Qrush was introduced in 2010 to the Frenz For Real family in Tower Hill, Kingston Jamaica, where he later claimed as his home away from home.  It was there where he later got a chance to see a professional side of the music industry that he previously knew nothing of. Over the past 10 years, he has gotten a lot of exposure; meeting a host of different artistes, and had small roles on Summer Sizzle and BBC 1Xtra with Seani B. However, things were not always easy but through thick and thin, Qrush stuck with his craft even though he admitted to friends that the music business was very tough and as such, he would have to do side hustles to make ends meet.

The entertainer’s vibrant vocal style brings a difference to the genre of dancehall as he approaches it in a very melodic manner which gives him an edge over the regular artiste and places him in a very advantageous position, where moving forward with his career is concerned. Now, at the age of 22, he can admit that all the sleepless nights, hungry days and dull moments then are finally paying off. Now, Qrush is spending his days by taking his creativity to the people, putting everything in his music as he believes that he is now ready to show the world that it is definitely “His Time” at a shot at fame.

“Frenz for Real Studios Ja” is well known for being a staple in the Jamaican dancehall industry for some years now and over that time has produced a wide range of hits that includes Vybz Kartel “Designa Vagina”, Jafrass ” Oh God”, Laa Lee “Watz On Sale” and Jae Prynse “Try Harder”. According to QRush, “If you believe in something, you can’t pree that it won’t work out, you have to always appreciate your work and believe in your efforts.”

With such a good team supporting his career and being a holder of such raw talent, Qrush is certainly destined for greatness in the music and is one to look out for especially based on the consistency of his team and himself.
