After an intense season of football with West London-based club Chelsea F.C., Jamaican-born English footballer Raheem Sterling has returned to the island and is relaxing in solitude.
With the hectic 2022/2023 Premier League football season at an end, Sterling has returned to Jamaica and shared a few photos on Instagram of his latest trip back to the island. Captioning photos of him at a football field at home and walking the streets of a quiet community, the footballer quoted Shane O’s 2022 single Dark Room, writing,” Me, myself and I and my shadow.”
Sterling joined Chelsea from Manchester City in July 2022 on a five-year contract and has made 38 appearances and registered nine goals with the club this season. The 28-year-old winger made just one appearance in the Carabao Cup, which was against his former club, Man City, and was unable to appear in the third round of the FA Cup due to a hamstring injury.
