Raheem Sterling Welcomes Khadija “Bunny” Shaw To Manchester City

Female Jamaican Footballer, Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, has now completed her final steps in signing her 3-year deal offer with English football club Manchester City and is now officially a member of the team. The impressive Shaw has been creating waves ever since she started playing the sport however since 2019 the intensity has been turned up a notch since she was one of the key persons to lead Jamaica’s female football team to the World Cup that year.

Along with that accomplishment, Khadija has been singled out as the leading goal scorer in last season’s French League, with a total of 22 goals for her now-former team Bordeaux.

On record Shaw is also the all-time top goal scorer for Jamaica, with a count of 42, putting her in the country’s history books.

Male Manchester City player and Jamaican Raheem Sterling, ensured he gave “Bunny” a wonderful welcome to the team on his Instagram account, letting Shaw know that the entire men and women’s team for City is a beautiful closed knit set of people.

Even though the 3-year deal is a progressive one for “Bunny”, she was still grateful towards her former team Bordeaux for the love she has gotten from them since she started at the club, and to show them her appreciation the footballer, expressed her courteousness through a goodbye letter to the team.
