Press Release – The visuals for Ras Kaneo’s latest single titled ‘Africa‘ has been released after much anticipation. Several major influencers on various social media platforms and radio disc jockeys have been endorsing the song and the conscious message from the Reggae Artiste.
Some lyrics, “Land of the black.. Africa yes i wanna break free from all this poverty…” On the other hand, the music video shows scenes from Africa and things of the rasta culture like the red, gold and green flag being waved high throughout the music video. The music video was released on RAS Kaneo’s YouTube channel @RasKaneo music.
Ras Kaneo recently made rounds online after images of himself went viral on social media due to his striking resemblance to Reggae legend Bob Marley, spent his early years between Linstead St. Catherine and Highgate St. Mary.
He grew up listening to the sounds of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Sizzla and Garnett Silk but as he grew older he was not contented with simply listening to the greats.
Currently Ras Kaneo is working with various Influential people, notably, Karl Durrant who in his own right has carved a name for himself in the industry and has worked with several other high-profile artistes.
Also, Dappa Force, an iconic musical sound system staple, Ancient Kush Music with Zion Babe/Ras Kaneo, and Tropical Muzikk with Dajure records out of St. Ann playing a great part in the cultivation of what is now the brand Ras Kaneo.
