Press Release – Reggae Dancehall artiste Rast Dias, affectionately known as UppsBoss has unleashed his latest musical work, the “MASH ROAD” EP. This 6-track project is a testament to Rast Dias’ innovative style, seamlessly blending vibrant rhythms with bold, unapologetic storytelling.
Born Adrian Dalando Dias in Mt. Pleasant, Hanover, Jamaica, Rast Dias’ musical journey began at a young age. Growing up surrounded by his father’s sound system, “Gangsta Force,” he developed a deep love for the music from Reggae legends like Bob Marley and Garnet Silk, he was also inspired by watching Capleton’s performances. This early exposure, combined with his own drive and determination, has shaped him into the talented artiste he is today.
Having overcome personal challenges, including navigating the tumultuous streets of Jamaica and dropping out of school at just 15, Rast Dias turned adversity into inspiration. After honing his craft in Trench Town, the birthplace of Reggae, Dias released singles like “Dirty Heart” which is featured on Brick mansion riddim with popular entertainers Jah Vinci, Bugle and more. “Destin To Win“ with 2 Trench Town Talents called Inoble and Torch. “Birthrights” which supports president Donald Trump’s new two 2 gender stance. Other songs includes “Puff Puff and Chill”, “Erro” “Dancehall Vibes” and “Trap Chop.”
In 2023 he released “Everything’s Just Upp’s,” EP with the title track being ‘Everything’s Upps’ featuring his two brothers from the UK who are 9 and 10 years old, another well accepted song on the project is “Feel Like Dancing.” In recent times, Rast Dias as seen a rise in his fanbase with his genre-blending sound that spans Reggae, Dancehall, Afrobeat, and Hip-hop influences.
The “MASH ROAD” EP is a showcase of Rast Dias’ versatility and growth as an artiste. The track “Exellent” featuring world renowned DJ Fire Links is a club/party banger, on the other hand, a heartfelt song on the project titled “Long Distance Relationship,” tells of a love story. Dias notes that each song delivers a unique energy and perspective.
“Sneaky Link” brings a playful, provocative edge but with reality and a message. Sticking to reality “Dem Turn Dem Back” speaks about life lesson learned from experience with good and bad friends, next track titled “Take It Look Pon” is a known song in Jamaica which relates to struggles of every day life. Brickbox Upps3.4 featuring Creepzz rapper from UK is creating waves across England.
The closing track “Zombie” featuring Fire links is a hardcore Dancehall Trap vibes gangsta song.

As per Rast Dias, he worked on “collaborations with heavyweights like Vybz Kartel King of the Dancehall song titled “Next Chapter ”, Twista “Meteorite” and Lil Wayne collaboration in the making.”
