Rasta from March Pen Road in Spanish Town gives up Gang Life for Music

Hailing from the March Pen Road community in Spanish Town, Du’Rite could have ended up like many of his peers behind bars or dead. However, his life changed when he got a chance to escape the gangster world and went to the United States.

There he met Tony Rebel and Queen Ifrica in Florida and his life changed forever. Tony Rebel listened to his story and a few of his tracks and invited him to be the opening act at Rebel Salute in Priory St. Ann. Since then Du’Rite has singles like Bloody City and Evil in their head with Capleton.

He is also promoting his new single No Hope and encourages members of his community to give up a life of crime and become productive members of society.
