Red Stripe Delivery Truck Robbed Of 5.6 Million Dollars Worth Of Goods

The Red Stripe company is now feeling the effects of a robbery that recently took place, with one of their trucks on Thursday. According to the Jamaican Star who brought the story, upon entrance to the North-South Highway, the truck was stopped at the toll by men dressed as police in red seamed uniform.

The truck driver was then forced out of the vehicle and the next thing he knew was that the men who stopped the vehicle, took off with the truck containing over 5.6 million dollars, worth of merchandise.

The Red Stripe delivery truck was last seen at the Angels Spanish Town exit, taking off and since then has not been sighted.

Luckily the delivery truck driver was not harmed in the robbery, and investigations are currently on the way into the matter while the Public Relations manager for the Red Stripe company Dianne Ashton, is ensuring that the protocols for contractual work are assessed To better move forward.
