Reggae Boyz Head Coach Names 24-Man Squad For Upcoming Friendlies vs Trinidad and Tobago

Head coach Heimir Halgrimsson has released his 24-man squad for the two international friendlies against Caribbean rivals Trinidad and Tobago slated for March 11th and 14th.

According to numerous reports, both games will be hosted by Jamaica, the first of which will be played at the Catherine Hall Sports Complex starting at 6 pm, with the final encounter set for the National Stadium kickoff time at 7 pm.

The squad includes players from all over the footballing globe. The 24-man list reads:
Asher Hutchinson, Kemar Foster, Jahmali White, Oshane Staple, Sue-Lae Mccalla, Adrian Mariappa, Fitzroy Cummings, Richard King, Jamoi Topey, Ricardo Thomas, Dexter Lembikisa, Dwayne Atkinson.

The list continues with Alwayne Harvey, Dante Harvey, Deland Mccoy-Splatt, Lamar Walker, Demario Phillips, Omari Hutchinson, Jahshaun Anglin, Ravel Morrison, Tyler Roberts, Collin Anderson, Trivante Stewart, Dujuan Richards and Jourdain Fletcher.

JFF confirmed the 24-man squad list via Instagram with the following post:

It will be the first time the local fans will have the opportunity to see the new Reggae Boyz head coach Heimir Halgrimsson in action on local soil, two other international friendly matches are scheduled to be played in Jamaica later this month.

The former Icelandic coach has already overseen two previous matches with the Reggae Boyz so far. Halgrimsson will, however, be making his home debut as the Reggae Boyz head coach, hoping he can start on a winning note in front of local fans. While fans, on the other hand, will be eagerly anticipating to see how he will cope with the task at hand and the style of play he will bring to the national team.

In addition, the Reggae Boyz will also play a Nation’s League game in Mexico City on March 26 before they play Guatemala on April 15 in one of their last games of the season.
