Richie Chaplin Entertainment – Dancehall and Reggae Music Label Based in Bull Bay, Jamaica

Founded in 2018 by Richard ‘’Richie Chaplin’’ Chambers, a Forensic Examiner, Creative Director, Music Composer and Executive Producer; Son of Reggae veteran Singer and Chief Tour Guide at the Bob Marley’s Museum Wilfred “Ricky Chaplin” Chambers and Nephew of one of Dancehall founding fathers Dr. Richard “Charlie Chaplin” Bennett, OD, JP.

Richie Chaplin Entertainment is a third-generation Rastafarian musical entity on a mission to preserve over Forty (40) years of  Chaplin Family’s (Charlie Chaplin and Ricky Chaplin) significant contribution to pioneering the Music Genre Dancehall; Rastafarian heritage, culture and traditions through the Motto:  vision is legacy to bring universally pure, modern, authentic and organic Dancehall and Reggae music.

Richie Chaplin, otherwise called “Da Gadfada” of The Royal Hause-A-Chaplin, gets his nickname from independently producing over 50 Dancehall songs and directing over 30 Dancehall and reggae music videos.

Richie Chaplin is the in-house Executive producer and A&R director at Sudu Hype Records, USA based in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.  He has collaborated with major record labels such as YardHypemusic, Swagg Records, Bone Thugz Records, Chrys Flair Records, Deno Whats Poppin, USA  and Papa One Production out of Nigeria.

The Artiste Roster of Richie Chaplin Entertainment label consists of Dancehall Artiste Kurency from Somerset St. Thomas, Jamaica, D’naxe and Khorus from Old Harbour Bay, St. Catherine, Jamaica, C to The Nine From Whitehall, Kingston; Shella Boss From Trinidad and Tobago; James Paare from Canada and Daloney from Ghana, West Africa.

Richie  Chaplin’s latest release is Clarks a Polo by D’naxe, = off the Sweet Muffy Riddim EP featuring Mama by Hutchy Don, Live the Life by Sicka Pure, and Better by Daloney out of Ghana, West Africa.

“Put foot a Road” by Real Bawdacat and Sicka Pure is the most popular release from Richie Chaplin entertainment on the riddim of the same name. It was featured in the Jamaica Star newspaper twice and got heavy rotation on local radio stations such as Suncity 104 FM, Roots 96 FM Radio and styles FM radio. The Song also made the Pure Talent Ten top charts on Roots 96. Fm.

Richie Chaplin is putting the final touch on St. Thomas Based Dancehall Artise Kurency’s Untitled sophomore EP to be released in 2023.
