Rick Ross in Jamaica to Perform at SANDZ – See Photos, Watch Videos
Hip-hop powerhouse Rick Ross arrived in Jamaica for what he declares is the “biggest bumbaclot party today,” hosted at Plantation Cove in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Before taking the stage tonight at the Sandz Caribbean Music Festival’s Vacae Weekend, which runs over the Easter weekend from April 7–10, Rick Ross shared photos and videos of how he spent his time ahead of the show.
On his Instagram page, he posted four photos before arriving, letting his fans know that he would be coming to “Jam rock” soon. The pictures showed him posing in a Phoenix Suns swingman jersey with a beverage at his feet.
In IG Stories, Rick Ross dropped photos of himself standing outside the plane and bird-eye videos of the island through the plane’s window. He also shared videos of the sceneries he passed while travelling in Jamaica, from shrubs and trees to small shops, houses, and the sea, while listening to old-school dancehall music.
Later, he had an “Easter feast,” which included rice and peas, fish, and crab, before dropping a video that seems to be the view from the hotel in which he is staying.
There was also an amusing video of him speaking to two Jamaican women, one of which he hugged while asking if she knew his name. The woman gave an affirmative answer, but hesitated before saying his name was “Drake,” which was the response of the next female.
He tagged Drake in the video, telling him that Jamaicans needed him, and Drake reshared the video, saying, “At least they know we identical twins.”
