Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers is currently on trial after being accused of shooting his former friend back in 2021, who is known by the name A$AP Relli and was born Terell Ephron.

A$AP Relli who has been on the stand for two days so far has had some issues answering some of the questions properly with the judge on Thursday having to interject several times during questioning by the prosecution to help the process.

A$AP Relli has stated that while Rocky did not point and shoot at him, he fired a shot that struck him on the hand, he also recalled texting Rocky after the shooting and Rocky denying shooting him.

As per Rocky’s lawyer, the rapper had a fake gun hence no real shot was fired, he insists that only blanks were fired from a ‘starter pistol’ similar to what is used at track events. Rocky’s attorney further stated that Relli knew that the gun was fake hence he fearlessly approached Rocky during the argument.

Rocky who is 36-year-old pleaded not guilty and turned down a deal that would have resulted in him spending 180 days of jail time, now he’s facing with the possibility of spending up to 24 years in prison if found guilty.
