Rita Marley Celebrates 77th Birthday
The Matriarch of the Marley Family, Rita Marley is now seventy-seven (77) years old after reaching the milestone on Tuesday

The Reggae Lioness and entrepreneur was born on the 25th of Jul 1946, in Santiago de Cuba, her birth name is Alpharita Constantia Anderson. Rita Marley is the head of Jamaica’s biggest family brand.
Musically, she was a member of the I Threes, alongside Marcia Griffiths and Judy Mowatt who were backup singers for Bob Marley and the Wailers.
In honour of her birthday, a concert was held on July 14 which consisted of a host of Reggae artistes and notably one Dancehall artiste in Elephant Man, see the flyer below:
