Rumours Of Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Breaking Up Over Infidelity Are Fake
The vicious rumours about A$AP Rocky cheating on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, which caused the couple to split have been confirmed to be completely fake by TMZ sources.
TMZ earlier reported that a source close to the couple denied both the breakup rumours and the rumours of infidelity.
Twitter was having a meltdown over the shocking rumours of Rihanna ending her relationship with A$AP Rocky during Fashion Week because he cheated on her with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
Rumours of Rihanna and Rakim Nakache Mayers, popularly known by his stage name A$AP, splitting came only weeks before the birth of their unborn child.
The source stated, “100% false on both counts. 1 million percent not true. They’re fine.”
Amid the rumours Thursday, Amina posted pictures of a Rihanna going out in West Hollywood, and she has now released a statement about the situation.
Addressing the rumours that Amina noted were “fabricated with such malicious intent” she said that she did not believe that there was the needed to speak on the matter when they were clearly fake, but given society’s compulsive behaviour for going along with any gossip, she decided to speak on the matter.
She reminded people that it was one of “the most beautiful and celebrated times” for Rihanna and A$AP, both of whom she has “a great amount of respect and affection for”. She lastly said, “While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business – I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!”
The wildfire rumours of infidelity started after influencer, fashion commentator and blogger Louis Pisano, took to Twitter with several tweets reporting the alleged breakup.
“Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split. Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi,” stated the commentator.
“Amina was responsible for designing Fenty’s footwear offering and Rihanna is often seen in custom shoes from her own label. ASAP & Amina is not new though as she was seeing him years ago and also collaborated with him on a collection of shoes. Things apparently hit the fan at Craigs in LA.”
Within minutes of tweeting these, the internet went into a frenzy over the credibility of these statements and even brought back Rihanna’s ex Drake into the mix with memes of him wanting a second chance.
The interesting point that Pisano made about Rihanna and Amina being friends, whereas, in the past, A$AP and Amina were also lovers several years back, has made the rumours even more mind-blowing.
Amina Muaddi is a celebrity shoe designer who has indeed worked with A$AP and Rihanna’s Fenty brand. On April 13, Amina posted a picture of Rihanna wearing her signature pink heels.
However, despite this Rihanna does not seem to be following Amina on Instagram. Even so, Amina is following both Rihanna and A$AP and only A$AP is following her back. Similarly, while Rihanna tagged A$AP in a photo two days ago, she is not following him, but he is following her.
Amina, who is 35-year-old, previously told British Vogue about her friendship with Rihanna and described the singer as “such a nice person” who sent her Fenty clothes when the brand launched.
Amina also told Vogue during her 2020 collaboration with A$AP that he “doesn’t compromise himself in his work or whatever he does; he’s a perfectionist the same,” she said
According to the rumour of the breakup being at Craig’s in LA, some days ago Deuxmoi’s blog shared that the couple was seen at Craig’s in Los Angeles in April, but later Rihanna was spotted crying at the table at one point before leaving out the back.
