Rygin King Delivers Emotional Performance at “Therapy” Album Release Party – Watch Video

Dancehall artiste Rygin King gave audiences an emotional rendition of one of his new songs during his performance at his Therapy album release party in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A.

On September 9, King officially released his album Therapy and struggled to hold back tears as he gave a touching and inspirational performance of the track Circumstances, which is featured on the 10-track project. Joined on stage by I Octane, who he collaborated with on the single Paranoid, King started performing the new single but was instantly overcome with emotion. King was then joined on stage and comforted by his sister as the crowd of fans in the audience loudly expressed their support for the artiste.

In the track Circumstances, the artiste talks about his struggle to overcome the obstacles that were placed in his life and the need to persevere despite them. King, born Mathew Smith, was one of the multiple victims involved in a shooting in Westmoreland’s Struie district. The entertainer was left paralysed after the 2020 incident, but after undergoing multiple surgeries and therapy, King returned to the music scene.

Featured on King’s album are the tracks: Wake Me Up, Song Cry, 7 Fall Many Rise, Maddest Life, This Feeling, Unbreakable, You Lord, the title track Therapy, and Broken. The official music video for King’s Broken was released on Thursday and has amassed over 200,000 views since its release. The video currently holds the number one spot in trending videos on YouTube for Jamaica.
