Rytikal GUN TRIAL Date Pushed Back to NEXT WEEK

Dancehall News, Eastsyde Records dancehall artiste Rytikal who is currently out on 1,000,000 bail will of to wait some more time before his trial begins, it was initially scheduled to begin on May 12th in the Gun Court however latest reports from the Jamaica Gleaner outlines that the trial was postponed to May 19th.

The St. Thomas artiste is currently out on strict guidelines, his passport was taken and he must abide by the current curfew hours, Rytikal must also report to the Bull Bay Police Station bi-weekly.

The artiste was in the Eight Miles, Bull Bay Area on January 28, 2021 with a group of men, the men were approached by the police and searched after which a pistol was found in the car that Rytikal was travelling in.

Rytikal was initially held by the police and questioned, the 25-year-old deejay whose real name is Rohan McFarlane was subsequently charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

It’s said that the artiste told the police that the gun was being used for a video they were shooting on the day. Rytikal who is label mate with Skillibeng earlier stated in an interview that “i love music more than anything else”.

Rytikal’s case was last mentioned in court on April 28, 2021.

Tommy Lee was sentenced recently to three years in prison for similar charges.
