Dancehall artiste Rytikal is in a celebratory mood today as he was freed from the charges of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition he was on since January 29th of last year. He was slapped with the charges when a car he was driving in was searched in the area of Bull Bay, St. Andrew by the police and a weapon was found.
The deejay was represented by Attorney at law Able-don Foote, who spoke to Onstage Tv on the matter immediately after the court session and made it known that the charges were dropped, which means that any discrepancies that were acting as obstacles to Rytikal were properly ironed out.
Now the St. Thomas native can say he is finally free since the court has decided to go with the argument that he did not have the firearm or the ammunition, and it was a rented car he was driving which anyone could have accessed.
Being liberated from such a situation Rytikal whose real name is Ryan Mcfarlane, says he will now be looking forward to sticking to the new change of “Purity” that he has been promoting since the beginning of the year.
“Mi free… mi feel good… that is it,” he says while laughing.
With that being said, the entertainer has sent out his gratitude to those persons who believe in him and have been sending up prayers for him.
