Rytikal Out On 1Mil Bail
Fast-rising Eastsyde Records artiste Rytikal was granted bail today in the form of 1,000,000 JM and strict guidelines, his passport was taken and he must abide by the current curfew hours, the news release from the Jamaica Gleaner also states that Rytikal must report to the Bull Bay Police Station twice per week.
According to the police report, the artiste was in the Eight Miles, Bull Bay Area on January 28 with a group of men, the men were approached by the police and searched after which a pistol was found in the car that Rytikal was travelling in.
The 25-year-old deejay whose real name is Rohan McFarlane was subsequently charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Rytikal is set to return to the Gun Court to go on trial April 28, 2021.
If he pleads guilty on April 28th, he is expected to received 2-3 years while if he is found guilty he is expected to spend at least 5 years behind bars while on the other hand, the St. Thomas artiste could walk free of the charges laid against him, only time will tell.
Tommy Lee was sentenced today to three years in prison for similar charges.
