She encountered a unique upbringing, raised by her Jamaican teen mother as her Canadian-born father was incarcerated when she was just four. Despite the challenges, Sandra moved to Canada in 2012 to pursue education and graduated from Mohawk College, marking a significant achievement.
Sandra’s talent and passion for music ignited at an early age; at just nine years old, she began crafting heartfelt songs, channelling her emotions and experiences into soulful lyrics. This budding talent flourished over the years, eventually culminating in a standout performance at her high school talent show, where she mesmerized the audience with her rendition of “Etana – Free,” showcasing her vocal prowess and musical finesse.
