Sasique signs Exclusive International Licensing, EP, Album Deal with Major US Label
After a successful year in 2022, Sasique is just getting started. She recently signed a licensing deal with renowned Payday Records based in New York, and a publishing deal with Ultra International Music Publishing. The deal will help to propel the already popular and successful hit single ‘Kute & Neat’ which grew to popularity on TikTok in August 2022 with over 1,000,000 people using the sound worldwide.
PayDay Records is known for being instrumental in launching the music career of hip-hop/rap superstar Jay-Z. The label distributes their music through Ultra Music in the United States and Sony in the United Kingdom. “When the song hit the 1st million views on TikTok, I received over 10 major international deals from companies worldwide. I chose to work with PayDay Records because of their track record for breaking artistes and their stellar work ethics”, said Sasique.
In addition to the licensing and distribution deal, Sasique was able to secure an EP and Album deal through PayDay Records. She added, “Kute and Neat opened the door for me into several international markets, providing me with the opportunity to increase my global fanbase. With this arrangement, my manager and I can now actively work on new music knowing that my newly found fanbase is ready and waiting”.
Sasique ended 2022 with her performance at STING but started the year with an appearance on the Eastern Extravaganza Stage Show and has re-released her 2021 single ‘Lend Him It’ produced by Rude Gyal Music. The single seeks to empower women to take control of their lives and their reproductive organs. “We are in an era where laws are being put in place to govern a woman’s body and, for some men, they believe that women are property. The song encourages women to take control of their own selves” shared Sasique.
