Scammers Target Kaylan Through Gofundme
The mother of 17-year-old Kaylan Dowdie, who was beaten at an illegal party is now speaking out against scammers who are trying to use the teenager’s name to make money.
According to Kaylan’s mother, she recently woke up to people telling her that there are people operating fake go-fund-me pages and benefitting from her daughter’s situation.
The distressed mother said she did her investigations and found a page owned by Simon Mikhalif, who she is going to report to a fraud squad.
She further stated that legitimate support is important at this time as Kaylan battles for her life. According to Kaylan’s mother, the teen has a blood clot under her arm, which doctors are working on to prevent from reaching her lungs so it is a tough time.

She also stated that real support has been pouring in from all around just the same, with even children sending their best wishes.
