Scotia ATM Explodes, Man Rushed To Hospital

An explosion at a Scotiabank in Port Antonio, Portland has left the building damaged, the machines destroyed and a man suffering severe injuries who had to be rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
The explosion happened Saturday morning at 4:15 a.m in the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Section of the Harbour Street-based bank.
Reportedly two ATMs were damaged as well as the front of the building. Hours later, the man was discovered in a critical condition at the back of the building inside of an incinerator and he was immediately transported to the hospital.
The police believe the damages to the ATMs and the building were a deliberate act.
