Sculptor of Breonna Taylor Destroyed by Racist
A sculptor created by Leo Carson, of Breonna Taylor, who was killed earlier this year in a police raid has been vandalized just two weeks after it was set up.
The artwork was placed in Downtown, Oakland to support the Black lives movement but to everyone’s surprise, the work of art was heartlessly destroyed.
The Police are currently searching for the person or persons, who might be responsible for the cruel vandalism, and is placing their hopes on surveillance cameras In the area to catch the criminal(s).
An infuriated Carson said that the act was obvious racism, and it shows the importance of art.
Leo even though saddened by the matter said that the vandalism will only make Breonna more powerful, and describes the racial act as cowardly.
Not giving up, however, Carson has already established a GoFundme account to raise money for repairing the sculpture, that also had Taylor’s name, written in it.
