Sean Connery The Greatest James Bond Actor Passes Away At Age 90

Acting extraordinaire Sean Connery passed away at the age of 90, leaving behind his beloved wife, Micheline Roquebrune and Son Jason Connery.

Connery, Is known for his iconic role as James Bond in Ian Fleming’s written movie series.

Even though he was a part of other films such as “The Untouchables”,” The Rock” and “Indiana Jones”, he will be mostly remembered for his skilful acting in the 7 Bond movies he was a part of.

He was active as James Bond since Dr No’s release in 1962, going on to further play the starring role for the other sequels up to 1983.

The role in Dr. No was said to not be an easy one for Connery to land, however, his persistence plus the fact that people loved him since his 3rd place finishes in Mr. Universe 1953 landed him the position.

The actor’s part played in the James Bond Films were dealt with so real that It has been reported that in Fleming’s, “Never say Never again” the actor got authentic Martial arts training and even broke his wrist on set, something he realized years after it happened.

Sean Connery was also known to have gotten 3 Bafta awards, and 3 Golden Globe awards for his contribution to the film industry.

The actor was also prestigiously knighted by the Queen which holds great honour worldwide.

According to his family, Connery passed away peacefully in sleep. He will surely be remembered for ages to come as the best James Bond actor.

Daniel Craig who currently plays James Bond said “Sir Sean was “one of the true greats of cinema” he also stated that “Sir Sean Connery will be remembered as Bond and so much more”.
