Seven Shot and injured by Gunmen, Headless body of man Found in John’s Hall
The police from Montego Bay, St James discovered the headless body of a man, they theorised that he could be a gunman who was one of those who went on a rampage in the community on Sunday, leaving seven people shot and injured.
However, the headless body was not identified the day after it was found.
The report stated that on Sunday at approximately 2:40 pm a motor car drove up to a car wash in Dam Head, John’s Hall with 4 men in it, they started shooting at the people at the facility and four of them were hit.
An off duty police officer challenged them causing a firefight before they could escape. The gunmen sped away in an effort to escape, but they collided with another vehicle. They opened fire on the occupants of the vehicle they had crashed into and three individuals were hit. All 7 injured people were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
Sources revealed that an eyewitness of a previous attack was at the Car Wash on Sunday and it is possible that the person was the target of this attack.
The shooting on Sunday brought back memories of the earlier shooting deaths of a 24-year-old security guard Kenroy‘Ken’ Sinclair and Dean Reid a 44-year-old farmer, both men were among others playing Dominoes next-door to the car wash. Three other men were shot and injured in that attack also.
