Following the anniversary of their last major collaboration, Go Down Deh, global dancehall icon Shaggy has announced that he will once again be collaborating with Queen of Dancehall Spice for a new single with Senegalese-American singer Akon.
Shaggy announced the upcoming song on his Instagram page on Thursday, sharing videos of him, Spice, and Akon in the recording studio. While the footage has no audio, Spice can be seen singing at the microphone while Shaggy vibes to the music in one of the shared videos.
In the second video, Shaggy appears to be enjoying the recording of their new collab while Akon is positioned at the microphone. The pair previously worked together on Shaggy’s 2007 single What’s Love.

The artistes will seemingly be partnering with singer/songwriter Olaf Blackwood, producer Shane Hoosong, recording and mixing engineer Grant Woods Valentine, and producer/songwriter Constantin “Costi” Ioniță, whom Shagggy tagged in the post.
