Dancehall artistes Shaggy and Teejay and the president of the Solid Agency, Sharon Burke, brought a dose of Christmas cheer to the patients at the Bustamante Hospital for Children, gifting them early Christmas presents.
Though his name might be embroiled in recent controversies, Shaggy has been staying busy as usual and on Friday made his annual visit to the Bustamante Hospital. The local philanthropist has continuously expressed how passionate he is when it comes to helping the wards of the Bustamante Hospital, which is the only facility of its kind in Jamaica.
The Keep’n It Real singer is known to bring along members of his charity foundation as well as special guests to take part in the Christmas treat as he aims to uplift the spirits of the children and their parents. DJ Frass, Moyann and Shaggy’s recent Gyal Dem Time collaborator Teejay were all in attendance alongside Burke, who helped organise Shaggy’s Shaggy and Friends concert, of which all proceeds were donated to the hospital.
In a video shared by Teejay, the Uptop Boss entertainer expressed how heart-rending it was to be there with the children. The artiste was briefly joined by Burke, who stated that they were doing good for their country.
