Shane O, Bugle and Louie Culture Scorch The ‘Top Flava Riddim’

Lyrical powerhouse Shane O along with the musically conscious Bugle and veteran artiste Louie Culture, are among 16 artistes on the ‘Top Flava Riddim’ jointly produced by GLion Records and Xpanda Muzik Production. The rhythm released on November 9, 2021, is timely, as the new season fast approaches providing music lovers with a series of party songs mixed with hustler anthems. ‘Top Flava Riddim’ is believed to be a great update to old school dancehall.

GLion Records has produced similar projects in the past, however, they believe this one will put them on the map. The recording label is no stranger to the scene as they have collaborated on projects featuring the likes of Jah Bouks and Clifton Black. “The goal of this riddim was to bring back a juggling feeling to dancehall with a combination of veteran artistes and new artistes”, said producer Vinci Lion of GLion Records.

Shane O

Shane O, who is one of the more prominent artistes on the rhythm, is pleased with the project. His single ‘Live Yuh Life’ speaks to living your best life despite the naysayers. He wrapped up his writing process easily in a couple of hours, showcasing his impeccable lyrical skills.

Bugle

Bugle’s single, on the other hand, entitled ‘My Choice’ speaks to making hard life decisions on your own. This track has turned out to be a fan favourite and has been receiving support locally and internationally.

Louie Culture being an affiliate of X-Panda Muzik Production added his own cultural touch to the rhythm with his song titled ‘Wuk Fi Life’.

Fast emerging talents Vyzadon, Bugle’s son Jev, Pohtent, Lady Lee, Vandal and Substanzz all have singles that have delivered an upbeat energy to the old school juggling rhythm.  With songs like ‘Blacka Pearl’, ‘Caah Tame’, ‘Bend Ova’, ‘All Ova Me’, ‘Hot Steppa’ and ‘Flavor’ to name a few.

The ‘Top Flava Riddim’ is now available on all digital platforms.
