Dancehall artiste Shaneil Muir has issued a warning to women about untrustworthy men who will enter a relationship with them just to scam them out of millions.
Shaneil rose to fame with songs such as Top Gyal and Hype and Boasy, which have garnered her a strong fanbase in Dancehall. However, the past few years have been a turbulent time for the singjay, who expressed a desire to exit Dancehall.
She has also had her issues in the industry and her personal life play out publicly online, such as her rift with her mother. An Instagram post by the artiste on Saturday has sparked speculation that she is now having relationship issues with her fiancé.
Shaneil voiced the strong warning to her fellow females and advised them to be careful of the men they are with, saying, “Ladies, you affi careful a who you call you man. Them we f**k you while a plan up how fi teef yuh 1.7 million. Wicked dem, trust none. God has a bigger plan.”
Reacting to the post, some viewers said that she may be giving out some general advice. However, others expressed that the money she shared was a very specific amount and speculated that she may be speaking about her fiancé.
After going public with the unidentified man last year, Shaneil received backlash, as some did not think they were a good match.
