Shawn Storm Thinks He WASTED 10 Years Of His Life, Wants To See His Family

Portmore entertainer Shawn Campbell who is more popularly known as Shawn Storm feels as if he has wasted the last 10 years of his life while spending a lengthy prison sentence behind bars.

In an interview done by the Jamaica Star, his cousin who is also one of his producers, Garfield ‘Still Yet’ Francis explained that “Sivva” is physically active behind bars, playing football daily, however, the period has been mentally draining for the dancehall artiste especially because he is not able to see his daughter, mother nor family like he’s used to in the past.

“When him seh 10 years wasted, him mean not seeing his daughter, mother, or him family like that,” Francis said, He also recalls the occasions he visited Shawn Storm in Lockup, “Even at times mi visit him, mi can see the depression on him, mi hear it inna him voice.”

The seemingly concerned cousin outlined to the Jamaica Star that the “My Life” artiste misses his family, “Him waan see him mother, him waan see him daughter. Apart from that, he’s very strong and healthy cause him play football daily. You know jail is a frustrating place and if nobody nuh cater fi yuh or memba yuh, yuh a go feel lost, so at times mi understand how him feel and ensure seh him get weh him need.”

Garfield explained that he hasn’t visited Shawn Storm in a while, because of the pandemic. Despite not seeing Shawn in a while, Garfield told the news outlet that he keeps in contact with his cousin.

Shawn Storm is serving a life sentence after being found guilty along with Vybz Kartel and others for the 2011 killing of former Gaza associate Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. Storm and his co-accused are all appealing the ruling to the Privy Council in the United Kingdom.

“Hopefully, he’ll be free soon, likewise Vybz Kartel, a just time fi this appeal go through and get the best results out of it which is freedom,” Francis Concluded to the Jamaica Star.
