Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Partners With Swedish Brand Richard Mille – See Photos and Watch Video
Following in the footsteps of several international athletes, Jamaican Olympian Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has secured a partnership deal with Swedish watch brand Richard Mille.
Fraser-Pryce’s partnership comes as the athlete continues to exemplify excellence both on and off the track. The 36-year-old holds the record for most times ever under 10.70 seconds as a female in the 100m and continues to acquire accolades with a total of three Olympic championship titles, ten World Athletics titles, and five Diamond League titles.
Richard Mille announced the company’s partnership with Fraser-Pryce on Wednesday via their Instagram page, highlighting her achievement as the most decorated athlete in the 100m and sharing her plans to conquer the Paris Olympics in 2024. Fraser-Pryce donned a Nike pleated tennis skirt and a crop top for her promotional photos while showcasing Richard Mille’s RM 07-04 Automatic Sport watch.
The sprinter described the RM 07-04 as timeless while noting its defining qualities.
“It’s timeless. It ties into each person. It owns you whenever you wear it. That’s what I want, the perfect synergy, as if I’m wearing nothing,” Fraser-Pryce said.
Fraser-Pryce is known for her array of colourful wigs that often stun fans as much as her speed on the track. The sprinter shared that she is looking forward to pairing the salmon RM 07-04 Automatic Sport with one of her famous wigs during a race.
“It’s a partnership! When I step on the line, it’s about me bringing out the part of me which can best show this unique watch off to the world,” Fraser Pryce stated.
Speaking on her partnership with Richard Mille, Fraser-Pryce said she wanted to be a part of a brand that knows that age does not limit progress and said that they both share the same vision as it relates to creating a timeless legacy. The sprinter also shared that she has been told on numerous occasions what she can or cannot do, and she wanted to push barriers.
