Amidst her latest World Championships, Fraser-Pryce shared her love for the sport, penning a love letter to track and field.

The sprinter’s lengthy message at first evoked the emotions of an athlete about to depart from their sport, but Fraser-Pryce assured fans that there is still more to come from the pocket rocket.

Sharing moments from her recent medal ceremony in Budapest, Hungary, Fraser-Pryce described athletics as a driving force that has left her humbled by the knowledge she has gained over the years. “Track has been at the epicentre of my life as far back as I can remember. I savour every moment of the process, from training to the competition. Medaling is the icing on the cake, and that sweet tooth and desire grows more, year after year,” Fraser-Pryce stated.
