Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce recently won the 60m sprint at the Glasgow Indoor Athletic Meet, it was a part of the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Tour. The 2012 Olympic 100m champion is showing the world that motherhood doesn’t stop women, they can still be successful.

This was her first indoor competition since 2014 and she finished the sprint in just 7.16 seconds. Murielle Ahoure from Ivory Coast won Silver and Natasha Morrison another Jamaican won Bronze in 7.30 seconds.

It is clear that #MommyRocket (her Twitter hashtag) who is now 33-year-old is getting back to perfect form. This victory has been no surprise as she won Gold in the World Championships last year at the 100m event in Doha and she is the only person who won the champion Murielle after she won 35  out of 36 indoor 60m sprints in the past 7 years.

Elaine Thompson, the Jamaican who is now seen as her rival because she took her crown in 2016 is suspected to be in training and planning to make a big return to top form in time for the upcoming Olympics.

Shelly is a 4 times World Champion and the 2 times Olympic Champion, she seems to be willing and able to win more medals on the world stage.
