The Shenyeng Princess delivered a captivating set at her pre-birthday festival at Plantation Cove, St. Ann last night which still has fans and admirers alike talking.
The entertainer, who will turn 28 on October 1, held the well-attended celebration to mingle with her fans. Naturally, she took to the stage and put on a show, which encompassed slowing grinding, as she performed some of her most popular tracks. She opted for a short, body-con red dress, complemented by thigh-length faux locs and light makeup. A look fit for the birthday girl!
One of the many highlights of the night was when she did a highly sexually suggestive gesture with the microphone, as though she was giving a hand job.
It’s safe to say she knew exactly what she was doing based on the smirk and eye contact that accompanied the move. What has even more fans talking was the fact that her “camel toe” could be seen thanks to the skimpy fit.
The full performance included renditions of “Dolly”, “Good Comfort”, “Shenyeng Anthem”, and of course, “Hit and Run.”
There were also surprise appearances from Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley and Chronic Law.
Some online users have aired their thoughts about Shen’s captivating set.
“Everybody know seh she freaky. What’s the surprise,” one person asked rhetorically.
“Mi aguh buy a sunshine snack peanuts and dried fruit and munch,” another said.
Meanwhile, another said, “wish a did me dat inna ar hand.”
The birthday celebration comes just two days after Shenseea and her only child Rajeiro were named ambassadors for Sunshine Snacks.
A release from Sunshine Snacks noted: “As one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated artistes, Shenseea’s dynamic presence and multifaceted career journey align perfectly with Sunshine Snacks’ commitment to investing in the arts, culture, and the entertainment that unite us as Caribbean people. By partnering with Shenseea and her son Raj we’re not only celebrating the importance of family, but also championing the vibrant creativity and cultural expressions that define who we are.”
In 2017, she signed a brand deal with Campari Caribbean, which was renewed in 2019.
The singer has been active on the music scene since 2016, and has so far released two albums. Her sophomore project “Never Gets Late Here” was released through Rich Immigrants and Interscope on May 24 this year. It debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.
