Shenseea Unfollows Tory Lanez On Social Media After Backlash From Megan Thee Stallion’s Fans
Shenseea’s loyalty as a friend to American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion is being questioned by her fans who are calling her out for following Tory Lanez on Twitter.
During an interview on April 25, with Gayle King on CBS News, the “Hot Girl Summer” entertainer revealed some shocking never-before-mentioned details relating to the gunshot wounds she received to her foot from the alleged 2020 shooting by ‘ex-boyfriend’ Tory Lanez.
Being a recent collaborator on the 2022 single “Lick” with Megan, people believe that the Dancehall princess started following the Canadian singer after the interview while others are criticizing her for still following him even after hearing of the traumatizing events that her ‘friend’ experienced at his hands.
Quickly after, Shenseea refuted the allegations by posting on her Twitter page that she was not aware that she was following Lanez and even went as far to unfollow him to show respect and solidarity with Megan Thee Stallion.
“Let me just unfollow out of RESPECT for another woman though I really cant remember when or howww that follow happened honey lol,” Shenseea tweeted.
She also tweeted that the “so-called fans” are always trying to put females against each other and then be the ones to speak about it.
Even with this, Megan’s fans were not convinced that Shenseea was genuine in her actions. Some persons are also alluding that the “ALPHA” female used the opportunity to trend in the media, seeing that her music lacks substance.
Exhausted by the negative comments that have been spamming the comments section of her post, Shenseea followed up with a final one to inform her trolls that she is unbothered by their remarks and for future reference, they should note that bullying does not work with her.
“In the future, bullying me does not work. I will literally stand against the world for fun. Thanks for bringing shit to my attention tho. Have a nice day, Y’all tried it!” Shenseea tweeted.
Megan Pete o/c Megan Thee Stallion filed a case against Daystar Peterson o/c Tory Lanez who she claims to have shot her in the foot in the summer of 2020. Lanez, however, has adamantly denied these claims and pleaded not guilty to the charge of felony assault and carrying an unregistered firearm. The case is currently still ongoing in the court and the trial date is slated to commence in September 2022.
