On Sunday, June 2, 200m World Champion Shericka Jackson won the women’s 200m at the Stockholm Diamond League, clocking a Season’s Best (SB) of 22.69s with a (-2.0) wind.
Jackson beat Julia Henriksson who took second place with a personal best of 22.89s, while Amy Huntran clocked 22.92s to finish 3rd.
In an interview before the race, Jackson expressed that she was looking to clock a season’s best despite not having a specific time in mind. She also detailed that she was running “a lot” last season compared to this season.
