Shericka Jackson Wins 200m Dash Senior Finals In 21.55

Shericka Jackson has shocked the world again, blasting to the finish line in 21.55 seconds, setting a new world-leading time and becoming the third-fastest woman in the history of the event.
Jackson, who promised to deliver in the 200m race after her victorious win in the 100m, shot ahead of her competitors the very second the race began. She was challenged by Elaine Thompson, but Jackson kicked in more speed, overcoming the Olympic Champion, as well as World Champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
Securing the sprint double, Jackson clocked a spectacular personal best of 21.55 seconds, claiming the national title and making her the third-fastest woman ever over 200m.
Coming in second is Elaine Thompson-Herah in 22.05 seconds ahead of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce who came in third at 22.14 seconds.
Jackson won her very first National Championship in the 100m when she finished in 10.77 seconds.
