Silento Arrested and Charged for Killing of his Cousin
Rapper Silento is facing a murder charge after he allegedly gunned down his cousin.
The “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” rapper got arrested on Monday after he allegedly murdered Fredrick Rooks, he was charged after the man’s death was investigated according to the DeKalb County Police Department.
Cops say on January, 21st they found Rooks body after he was shot to death in the street. Eight bullet casings were found on the scene. Cops reported that they don’t have a clear motive for the shooting as yet.
However, they connected Silento to the crime, because cops revealed that they had Ring camera footage from some homes in the area and at least one gunshot was captured, and many vehicles fled the scene after.
It was reported that Silento had a rough 2020, he had legal woes in October, he was arrested after cops said he was driving 143 MPH and in September, he was arrested again and charged with 2 felony counts for assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly threatened some individuals with a hatchet.
His camp has been silent and he’s currently being held in DeKalb County Jail.
