Silk Boss to Marry Fiancee Brii: Talks Wanting ‘7 Children’

Dancehall artiste Silk Boss whose birth name is Rohan Reid sat down with Pelpa Time Production to talk about his music, family and future plans. During the lengthy chat, Reid highlighted that he wants seven children and declared that he will be getting married to Brii in the future.
“Mi nuh wah my youth dem grow up none tall and have dem daddy as a failure… bro between me and yo, a seven youth mi want still enuh,” he expressed before stating that he already has a lot of responsibilities plus additional children will depend on him hence he needs to achieve as much as possible.
So far, Silk Boss is known to have at least two children, his daughter with Brii and another child who currently resides overseas.
Silk Boss was asked about his fellow artiste co-workers such as Jah Vinci, Vybz Kartel, Tifa, Teejay etc proposing to their partner. The Montego Bay deejay replied, stating that marriage is in the plans for himself and Brii whose birth name is Sabreinna Williams, reminding the interviewer that he had proposed to Brii already.
“It affi happen man… yeah man… mi propose to har a Barbados,” says Silk Boss.
Back in 2022, after news broke that Silk Boss cheated on Brii who is also his manager, the artiste apologized for his screw-up and subsequently went the extra mile to show his genuine feelings.
The artiste was captured on camera inside a supermarket with flowers in hand trying to find the perfect chocolate so that he could propose to Brii. The footage then showcased him in a hospital room where the two can be seen hugging after they made up.
While the actual proposal was not seen on camera, the person seemingly behind the recording, along with other voices, could be heard saying, “put on the ring bro, give her what she deserves.” The proposal was not officially confirmed until his new September 2024 interview.
According to the artiste, nowadays, he’s fully invested in his music, signed to himself and trying to stay away from controversy.
Before closing out the interview, Silk Boss highlights that he mostly listens to music from Chronic Law and Alkaline. He also reacted to the possibility of performing on Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert.
