It is reported that on May 10, 2020, Nadeen reported to the police that her sister had damaged her water tank however, the now-deceased 36-year-old had told the lawmen that she would have her older sister compensated for the destruction.

It was later found out based on the confession of Nadeen, and her two daughters, that on the night of June 19, 2020, the older Geddes sister had hired a gunman for 150,000 dollars which she paid the person to kill Tamara.

Tamara Geddes was later shot dead, in her bedroom in the presence of her ten-year-old.

According to the statement given by Nadeen, she could not take it anymore, as the destructive type of situations were always happening so she just decided to kill her.

The now sentenced woman’s daughter, Shanice Ruddock told the police after being questioned that on the night, she heard her mother and the gunman plotting in the yard to do the crime and about half an hour later she heard the commotion, but Nadeen had told her and the 15-year-old sister not to say anything.

Another man and two co-accused who were charged for conspiracy to the murder, have also been released as there was not sufficient evidence to find them guilty.
