The artiste further stated that he does not want Prime Minister Andrew Holness to bring the country back to its colonialist past with slavery. He added that Jamaicans should be the ones overseeing the reaping of the island’s potential resources, such as oil, and not outside companies.

“Nobody nah come dig up mi round yah and come dig up mi ting. Mi nah get nuh land fi mi pickney guh pan plus yuh wah come dig up fi get oil. Try nuh try dat. Don’t guh up a di Cockpit Country territory. Kip out a do Maroon territory,” Sizzla said.
